Roman is a lifelong resident of the Borough of Wallington. He currently resides in Wallington with his wife of 21 years and 4 children.

In his spare time, Roman serves as a dedicated public servant and community volunteer for a number of organizations. Organizations in which Roman has served include:

• The Wallington Lions Club
• The Wallington Cub Scouts Pack 67 (former Chairman)
• Wallington Jr. Football (former President)
• The Meadowlands Jr. Football League (former President)
• Wallington Little League (former Vice President)

Due to his many volunteer contributions, Roman was honored as the 2008 Bergen County Volunteer of the Year by Bergen County Executive, Dennis McNerney

In his current capacity as Councilman, he serves as liaison to the following boards/committees:

• Recreation Commission
• Lights
• Buildings and Grounds
• Safety
• Board of Adjustments

Additionally, he is a committee member of:

• Finance
• Insurance
• Personnel
• The Board of Education
• Public Events
• Ordinance Review
• Veterans

As for his professional career, Roman has been employed in various Information Technology roles for over 25 years and spanning a variety of companies.
