Route 21 is the nearest highway to the Borough of Wallington:

Northbound on Route 21 - take Exit 11A River Drive into Passaic. Travel a quarter of a mile to the Main Avenue Bridge. Make a right onto the bridge and Main Avenue and cross over the Passaic River. After leaving the bridge, make a right onto Paterson Avenue, which immediately forks to the right. Make a left onto Union Boulevard at The Veteran’s War Memorial. The Civic Center is a short distance down on the right.

Southbound on Route 21 - take Exit 11 Lafayette Avenue into Passaic. Immediately make a right onto Main Avenue going North and backtrack along Route 21 a quarter of a mile to Gregory Avenue. Make a right onto Gregory Avenue, pass over Route 21 and onto Paterson Avenue, which immediately forks to the right. Make a left onto Union Boulevard at The Veteran’s War Memorial. The Civic Center is a short distance down on the right.

Entering Route 21 from major highways:

South of the Civic Center, Route 21 connects with Route 3 in Clifton or further south to Route 280 and Route 78 in Newark.

North of the Civic Center, Route 21 ends at the junction of the Garden State Parkway (Exit 156), Route 46, end of Route 20 and Route 80 (Exit 60).
