PLANNING BOARD OF THE BOROUGH OF WALLINGTON
NOTICE OF MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a regular meeting of the Planning Board of the Borough of Wallington (the "Board") will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. Due to the current state of emergency and current public health emergency caused by COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and in accordance with Governor Murphy's Executive Orders 103, 104 and subsequent Executive Orders, and in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq. (OPMA) as amended by Bill A3850/S2294, this meeting will be conducted with participants at remote locations, connected by conferencing software provided by Free Conference Call.Com. The Wallington Civic Center located at 24 Union Boulevard, Wallington, New Jersey is currently closed to the public. Members of the public are invited to view and participate in the meeting by following the instructions below. Members of the public interested in asking questions, providing comments, or offering evidence concerning the application can do so during the hearing by following the instructions below and will be prompted to do so by the Chairman, at the appropriate time. Members of the public may also ask questions or provide comments in advance of the public hearing by sending an email to [email protected]. There will also be a portion of the public hearing dedicated to public questions, public comment, and the ability of the public to offer evidence. You may contact the Board Secretary to review any application set for hearing, including all documents relating to each application, such as, the application form, plans, reports, exhibits, and reports of Board Professionals, if any. Applicants are required to submit all documents, including exhibits, no later than ten (10) days before the meeting. Additionally, any objector or person wishing to use exhibits at the hearing, other than the application, are required to submit same to the Board Secretary no later than ten (10) days before the meeting. If you wish to review the file for an application and/or if a member of the public, objector or their attorney wishes to submit any exhibit(s) to any application, please contact the Board Secretary, Paula Gilbert at (973) 777-0318 ext. 214 or by email at [email protected]. The application and supporting materials (including maps and plans) will be available for public inspection free of charge by going to the following webpage https://www.wallingtonnj.org/planning-board at least ten (10) days before the public hearing. Alternatively, members of the public may contact the Board Secretary at (973) 777-0318 ext. 214 during regular business hours or email the Board Secretary at [email protected] in order to request a copy of the Application and supporting materials, which will be made available for pickup at the Wallington Civic Center located at 24 Union Boulevard, Wallington N.J.
