Mayor and Council - Special Meeting

  Please take notice that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Wallington has scheduled a special meeting for August 16, 2018 commencing at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Wallington Municipal Building located at 24 Union Blvd., Wallington New Jersey. The following matters shall be on the agenda and may or may not be acted upon: 1) Review and action upon any correspondence received by the Borough which would have been considered at the work session of August 7, 2018 which was cancelled; 2) The hiring of an architect to perform work with respect to the Municipal Building being renovated at 54 Union Blvd.; 3) Chapter 159 authorization to spend funds with respect to the CDBG grant for King St.; 4) Introduction and first reading of an ordinance creating a flood commission.  5) Review of proposed tax appeal settlements. Formal action may or may not be taken at this meeting.
