The Wallington Health Department is sponsoring its annual Blood Screening Program on Friday May 7, 2010 and Saturday May 8, 2010 from 7:00AM to 10:00 AM at the Wallington Civic Center, 24 Union Blvd.
The screening program is open to all adults, 18 years of age or older. The cost is $22.00 per person for the laboratory analysis. No blood test additions or substitutions. All participants must fast eight hours prior to their appointment.
For $50.00 the male participants (who must be over 50 years of age) can have the laboratory work plus the PSA test which is a blood screen tool for the detection of prostate cancer. For $30.00 the female participant only (who must be over 50 years of age) can have the laboratory work plus the TSH test which is a blood screen tool for the detection of changes in the thyroid gland.

At the time of appointment you must bring two letter size stamped envelopes: one envelope made out with your name and address and the other envelope made out to your primary physician with his name and address. All clinical results will be mailed to each client’s primary physician for follow-up. The client will be responsible for sending their blood test results out to any additional physician. Appointments will only be taken with a physician name and address. We cannot honor any appointments without these addressed envelopes.
